“This is The Day that The Lord has made! Let us rejoice and be glad in it!”

This past Sunday - May 18 - truly was a wonderful celebration and blessed day within the life of our parish with The Archpastoral Visit of His Eminence Archbishop Michael.

It all began with a wonderful Q&A Session with His Eminence, a full church, a beautiful, joyous, and prayerful Divine Liturgy, a delicious luncheon, a fruitful meeting of the Parish Council with His Eminence, and wonderful Christian Fellowship with one another as a parish family, as brothers and sisters in Christ and with our beloved Diocesan Hierarch, Shepherd, and Father in Christ.

What a joyous time we had on Sunday spending it together in prayer and fellowship and getting to witness the Elevation of Fr. Peter Irfan (attached priest) to the Dignity of Archpriest, the bestowing of the Jeweled Cross to Fr. Iliya Gotlinsky and The Ordination to The Holy Subdeaconate of Sbdn Constantine (one of our beloved parishioners.

Truly we witnessed the Fullness of The Church in our beloved parish of St. George - Glory to God! Lord it is good to be here!
